Homemade Chocolate Spread

Chocolate- it is something just about everyone loves. You can put it on almost anything and it will taste absolutely devine. So with that in mind, I wanted to create something for this superfood that would taste both delicious and be vegan as well!

It does not take long to make (maybe 5- 10 minutes max depending if you want it to be hot or cold) and depending on how much you make or use it can last to serve 4 or more!

Here is the recipe below:





1/2 cup + 2 tbsp raw cocoa powder
1/2 cup of dates
3 tbsp olive oil
1 cup of boiled water
1 spoon of MySmartShake Whey Shake Base
1/2 spoon of MySmartShake Protein Booster
1/2 spoon of MySmartShake Fibergy Plus



Directions:



In a blender add the 1 cup of boiled water, 3 tbsp. of olive oil and 1/2 cup of dates. Blend. As it blends add the spoon in which is provided with the MySmartShake Whey Shake Base into the blender and you can also use that same spoon to add the 1/2MySmartShake Protein Booster and  MySmartShake Fibergy Plus.
Continue the blending process and add the 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp raw cocoa powder to a velvety- smooth consistency. Add any extra water in which may be needed to the mixture at any time and based on how thick you may want it.


Pour into a bowl and use either right away or leave it to cool and use later in the day!
