How to be Happy and Stress Free

I am sitting down in my living room today watching the mountains, and I realize that one year ago today, I took the decision to minimize all the things that we have. It was in my mind since my fiftieth birthday in October, and finally for December we were taking the decision for these changes. And in January we put the house for sell. Took a long time to sell the house but in the end, we finally did it, and in August we moved from a 1700 sq. ft. house to a nice 932 sq. ft. apartment. Of course we had to get rid of a lot of stuff that we had, and I realize that we are completely disconnected because of that- our stuff . We were in a stage of our lives that we were in a lot of stress, with depression, a ton of fights, we were ill, and we don’t know what to do. We were thinking that maybe divorce was our next step. But, when we started to see what things we can keep and what we do not need any more and put stuff away, our mood started to change; we finally were communicating again.

Kale Quinoa Bites

Kale Quinoa Bites 1 bunch of kale, 1 cup of quinoa,  2 sweet potatoes, 1 onion, 2 carrots, 1 cup of ground flaxseed, 1 cup of nutrional yeast, 1/2 cup if chickpea flour, 1/2 cup of oil, 1 teaspoon of vinager, 1 teaspoon of sea salt, 1/4 cup of parsley, 3 clove of garlic, Italian seasoning to taste. Cook and puree sweet potatoes,  then in a food processor put the onion, carrots, garlic, kale and parsley to shred. Once shredded, combine all the  ingredients in a bowl and mix together. Make bite size balls (or if you prefer pit in a muffin tin). Put into a preheated oven (350 degrees) and bake for 45- 50 minutes.

Cornmeal Muffins You need: Cornmeal, Parsley, garlic powder, ginger powder, chives, a little salt, water. First, boil 4 cups of water, stir as you pour the 1 cup of cornmeal to not have it cup together. Continue to stir till the cornmeal has absorb all the water and is bubbling. This is when you add the parsley,  garlic powder, ginger powder, chives,  salt, and vegan cheese to your taste of how much you will like. Remove from stove and pour into greased muffin pans, cook for 15- 20 minutes, remove from oven, and leave till it is completely cool as this is when it will form to muffin shape. Remove and Enjoy!!

Homemade Chocolate Spread

Chocolate- it is something just about everyone loves. You can put it on almost anything and it will taste absolutely devine. So with that in mind, I wanted to create something for this superfood that would taste both delicious and be vegan as well! It does not take long to make (maybe 5- 10 minutes max depending if you want it to be hot or cold) and depending on how much you make or use it can last to serve 4 or more! Here is the recipe below: 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp raw cocoa powder 1/2 cup of dates 3 tbsp olive oil 1 cup of boiled water 1 spoon of MySmartShake Whey Shake Base 1/2 spoon of MySmartShake Protein Booster 1/2 spoon of MySmartShake Fibergy Plus Directions: In a blender add the 1 cup of boiled water, 3 tbsp. of olive oil and 1/2 cup of dates. Blend. As it blends add the spoon in which is provided with the MySmartShake Whey Shake Base  into the blender and you can also use that same spoon to add the 1/2 MySmartShake Protein Booster  and   MySmartShake Fibergy Plus

Vegan pizza for dinner tonight. It is made with whole wheat pita for the crust, cold pressed extra- virgin olive oil for the sause, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, dried herbs for seasoning, and the Vegan cheese on top which is made with soy! Yum!!

Plant- based diet, supplementation and meditation- the combination of the three has helped me in my life to both lose weight, and recuperate my health. Many people in their lives will get, like me, a disease such as high blood pressure, diabetes, osteoarthritis, etc. and it is all due to things we are doing, and the way we are eating. I started doing meditations, doing my groups, and writing my book about my journey in this life with my health, spiritualism, and connection with my higher self.
